Niharika is a Master’s student in Computer Science at Arizona State University, with a concentration in cybersecurity. She is interested in understanding how human and social contexts shape end users’ security, privacy, and safety. In her current work, she studies AI transparency in AI-generated media, investigating threat models and potential harms, with the goal of developing disclosure approaches centered on user needs. Through empirical research on user contexts, she aims to inform the development of systems and interventions that are both effective and inclusive in practice.
