Michael is a PhD student in Computer Science at Arizona State University studying the intersection of cybersecurity education and AI, co-advised by Yan Shoshitaishvili and Jaron Mink. His work explores how students use AI tools to learn cybersecurity, and how that knowledge can shape better teaching methods that integrate AI effectively into the learning process. He has also taught CSE466 with pwn.college, and helps lead DEFCON Academy.
